Start the day off at the beautiful moated castle Satzvey. A guide will show you the castle and after the tour you may walk around the castle grounds and grab lunch. In the afternoon we will visit a lovely town full of half timbered houses. You can spend your free time there walking around picturesque streets with a flyer for orientation, walk up to the castle or check out some of the outlet shops. Finally you will visit a big radio telescope. Depending on COVID-19 restrictions you may or may not be able to go inside this magnificent radio telescope. Worldwide there are only two of this kind.
Today you will get to see the big water reservoir of the Urft river. After a peak at the reservoir, we will head towards Vogelsang. This is a former Nazi military training ground which is now part of the Eifel Nationalpark. After a guided tour through the remains of the military history, you may grab some lunch and/or explore a bit by yourself. Refreshed we will visit a wildlife park where you may get to see a flight show with birds of prey.
Visit Cologne, one of Germany's most beautiful cities. In the morning we will have a stop with a guided tour at the Chocolate Museum where you will learn everything about chocolate. In the afternoon we will drive to the Zoo where you can spend your free time as you please before we head back towards home.
In the morning you will get to see one of North Rhine-Westphalia most impressive castles. It is also called “Westphalian Versailles”. Since we can’t travel to Paris we thought to bring Paris to you. After a guided tour inside of the castle, we will drive to Münster for a guided city tour. In the afternoon we may visit a beautiful open air museum. This will set you back in time and displays how people used to live in the old days.
This afternoon trip will lead you to the picturesque town of Cochem. Spend some free time exploring the town with its narrow streets and half timbered houses before heading up the hill towards the breathtaking castle. There you will receive a guided castle tour and be guests of the royalty (dressed up actors) for a delicious dinner. This trip is fun for the entire family.
Take a cruise along the Rhine river without a boat. Since there are a lot of restrictions and precautions due to Corona virus we thought of a way to show you the beautiful Rhine river without being stuck on a boat with many foreigners. Travel by bus to Koblenz, visit the fortress Ehrenbreitstein by cable car, have a stop at the monastery Eberbach which is known to some for the movie “In the name of the Rose”, have a final stop at Rüdesheim, a beautiful little town at the river bank where there is also the German version of the statue of liberty. It actually symbolises the re-establishment of the German Empire after the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71.
