Disclaimer - ITT Terms and Conditions for Bus Tours

With using this Service you accept the following terms and conditions. If you do NOT agree with any part of the following terms and conditions, you MUST NOT use this service.
This reservation booking and informational service is operated by ITT, a division of the 52nd Force Squadron of the United States Air Force Europe (USAFE) and the content and data coming with this service are copyrighted by ITT and/or its various third party providers and vendors.
For legitimate reservations and purchases, you may use this service and do not use this service to make false, fraudulent, speculative or any reservation in anticipation of demand.
All information given by you will be governed by the Privacy Act Information provided by ITT through this service and will not be sold or made available to any organization outside of ITT.
Armed Forces Active Duty Personnel, DOD Personnel, Government Employees, American Civil ID card holders and their families are eligible to use the ITT service.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION AND BOOKING PROCEDURES
a) ITT is only an agent for various hotels, contractors, bus companies, and travel agents and is in no way responsible or to be held liable for their obligations, accidents, delays, or losses...
b) ITT and Commercial Agencies reserve the right to alter itineraries as needed - due to certain unforeseen circumstances the itinerary is subject to change!
c) ITT and Commercial Agencies reserve the right to cancel bus tours, should a minimum participation not be reached any time.
d) Non-smoking and non-alcoholic tour bus and ITT does not accept intoxicated customers and bad behavior on our tours.
e) After completing your tour reservation, the travel agent will provide you with a copy of the registration along with the tour flyer. Please keep these as they provide pertinent information regarding departure places and times, policies, details of the tour, emergency phone numbers etc and are required to show your tour escort you are booked for the tour.
f) Costs for services, which are advertised as #included# on the tour flyer, will be paid by the tour company. To ensure you have enough extra money, please read your flyer to find out which extra costs might occur on the tour (i.e. optional tours, admission fees, meals, etc.).
g)We recommend to buy entrance tickets, which are not included in the price and you buy by yourself after the tour has been confirmed. But there will be no refund for private purchases when the trip has to be canceled due to world impacts or other impacts any time.
h)ITT sends a tour escort along with our trips. Please understand an ITT Escort is not a professional tour guide but more of a host/hostess to assist you with general questions and concerns and to pass on basic information. If your tour includes a guided city tour, in most cases we hire a local tour guide to give you detailed information about your travel destination.
i)For your own enjoyment and that of your fellow passengers please keep the buses clean during your trip. Avoid eating “messy food” and use the garbage cans on the bus or take your garbage outside at the next available stop. Also, most buses are equipped with a toilette. Please use the bus bathroom only in emergencies, as the water supply is limited to about 30 flushes.
j)There are no amount, weight or size restrictions for luggage on the bus, but please be aware that for safety reasons all bags, suitcases, and coolers that will not fit underneath your seat must go in the luggage compartment underneath the bus as the aisle must remain clear at all times.
k) Separating from the tour group: If you prefer to explore a destination on your own, away from the tour group, in most cases you are free to do so. However, before you leave please inform your tour escort and ensure you have the exact time and place, when and where, you must meet back with the group
l) Comment Cards: We strongly encourage you to fill out the ITT tour comment cards that will be given out on every tour by our tour escort. It’s very helpful if you also give us your name and a contact, so we are able to reply to your comment. Your opinion, to include suggestions, recommendations, critiques, or compliments help us to provide the best customer service possible

2.CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY AND CONSENT
a) I -the customer- CONFIRM THAT ALL PARTIES SIGNED UP FOR THIS TOUR HAVE PROPER TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AT TIME OF BOOKING
b) I-the customer- ACCEPT AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ALL CONDITIONS STATED HEREIN AND ACCEPT TOUR OPERATOR CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT AS STATED ON FLYER/WEB PAGE/ITINERARY
c)I -the customer- ACCEPT LIABILITY FOR PAYMENT IN CASE OF DECLINED CREDIT CARD CHARGE
d)I-the signed customer -am 18 years or older

2. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
a) Due to current world events and the refugee crisis in Europe, valid U.S Tourist Passports, Non-FEE Passports, Military ID s and a copy of orders are required for all ITT Tours. (even within Germany)
b) It is in your responsibility to meet all entry requirements of your destination country of all parties signed up.
c) Please check the validity of your passport and review current VISA requirements with the appropriate embassies.
d) In case of not having proper travel documents, the bus escorts have the right NOT to let you on the bus.
e) All costs created due to NOT having proper travel documents are in the customers' liability.
f) The customer leaving Germany is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents, including any required visas.
g) The customer is responsible for complying with the laws of each country traveling from the departure country, through any transit countries, and into the destination country.
h) With NO TOURIST PASSPORT and NO NON FEE PASSPORT for dependents, there will be NO transportation and NO REFUND!!!
i) In order to find the exact requirements about different countries please contact the consulate of the country you are traveling to or check the website mentioned below.
j) Traveling with ITT you must be an ID card holder by regulation or be sponsored by one. The ID Cardholder must sign the tour registration form. For family members or non-ID cardholders, the sponsor or ID card holder has to travel with them all the time. It is the ID card holders responsibility that all travel members have proper travel documents and a base entry pass.
k) You can obtain your base entry pass from the Pass & ID office outside the main gate; ID card holders and visitors must be present at the time of issue.



2.PAYMENT
a) All bus tour bookings require a full payment of the tour price and must be paid at the time of sign-ups.
b) For the overnight bus trips, a down payment of 50% is possibly more than 4 weeks of the departure day. Rest payment is due 2 weeks before departure day.
c) Payment can be done in cash EURO or Dollar or with a Credit Card. ITT accepts AX, VI, MC
d) All concert and event tickets must also be paid in full at the time of sign-up and are non-refundable.

DISCOUNTS
a) ITT offers an early booking discount 3 weeks in advance 5 Euro or 7 $.
b) 5% discount when showing the Club Card for overnight trips but NOT for day trips. No early booking discount additionally.
c) SAPI price for selected bus trips. SAPI price is only possible for a U.S. Active Duty or Air Reserve Component personnel permanently
assigned to an Air Force Installation or Air Force-led Joint Base WITHOUT a spouse
d) NO discount for SAPI price
e) NO SAPI price for accompanied children - they pay children price
f) NO early booking discount for infants

3.CANCELLATION/REFUND
ITT and Commercial Agencies have cancellation fees for all tours. In all cases, a cancellation fee will be charged according to the cancellation policies on the itinerary.
- Canceled FROM CUSTOMER
a) private reason :
- a fee of 25 % of the total tour price if canceled more than 2 weeks before departure - for DAY TRIPS
- a fee of 50 % of the total tour price if canceled within 2 weeks before departure - for
- No refund for same day cancellation/no shows - regardless of reason-for DAY TRIPS
- FEES for Overnight trips differ from the day trips due to deadlines from the operators/hotels- normally 50 % until the published deadline, no refund from deadline to depart
- Fees are always per person
b) work reason:
- No fee, if a signed letter by the supervisor is provided to ITT not later than 3 business days after the tour departs,
- No refund, if this condition is not met.
c) SAPI tours :
- No refund ANY TIME for day and overnight trips, in case of a no show there will be no further SAPI trips available for the registered individual
d) overnight trips:
- Special cancellation condition due to different deadlines from the contractors -see on the specific flyer
e) You have to notify ITT about your cancellation immediately!!!!!
f) Travel Insurance: Cancellation insurance is available at the request of the client

-Canceled FROM ITT
-Full refund if ITT cancels the trip
- Under most circumstances, tour cancellations are announced 2-3 days prior to the departure for day trips and several weeks before departure for the overnight trips. In this case, ITT will call to notify you. Usually, if you do not hear from us, your tour is confirmed.
- Passenger Safety is a big concern to ITT. We want to ensure you that ITT’s awareness is growing with the increasing worldwide threats. Should we get an official warning that traveling to a certain destination is strongly not recommended and/or prohibited, ITT will cancel the tour. If we get a message that only increased awareness and caution for a destination is recommended, the tour will continue as planned
- Tour cancellations due to weather conditions: Our tour buses are very well equipped and prepared for winter weather, therefore our tours will not be canceled due to bad weather unless road conditions are officially declared as extremely risky.



CUSTOMER S RESPONSIBILITY
a) proper travel documents
b) Proper conduct throughout the tour. ITT does NOT accept intoxicated customers and bad behavior on the trips
c) bring ITT receipt to the bus, EUROS for Meals, Drinks & Purchases, we recommend to bring snacks, water, and a small pillow and a blanket, bring comfortable walking shoes, a camera, and an umbrella
d) Any damage to the bus, hotel room etc. during the tour
e )making sure to depart from the correct location at the correct time and boarding the correct bus:
additional costs for missing the bus are in the customer s liability
f) All persons who sponsor a non-ID cardholder are responsible for ALL DEBTS incurred by the guests.
g) Please make sure to pack your bags accordingly, i.e. take everything you need throughout the bus ride with you to your seat and leave the rest in the trunk
h) Use the bus bathroom only in emergencies, as the water supply is limited to about 30 flushes. Use the bathrooms at the rest stops.

TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN
a) Children under 6 years must have a child seat and have to remain buckled up all the time during the bus ride. German Law!
b) Infants
- (0-2) price is 25 Euro or 30 $ for day trips
- (0-2) price is 49 Euro or 60 $ for 1 overnight trip
- (0-2) for 2 overnight trips or longer is on request
-No early booking discount for infants

SINGLE ROOM SUPPLEMENT
a) Tour prices are per person and based on double occupancy. Single room supplements will apply for one person occupying one room.
b)The supplement will be automatically charged on all overnight tours when one person occupies a room to her/himself. You are required to pay the supplement after notification.
c) In order to avoid paying this supplement, there must be at least 2 people in one room, so ask a friend to go with.

PUNCTUALITY and PARKING
a) Customer has to arrive 15 minutes prior departure time at the bus/meeting point.
b)If you are late for the scheduled departure you may be left behind or be responsible for finding your own way home and the costs involved.
c) Before you leave the bus at your travel destination, know what your bus looks like (color, license plate, etc), where it is parked and when the bus is scheduled to leave.
d) If you are unsure please ask your bus escort for assistance
e) Please be careful you do not park your car in a restricted parking area while you are on a tour. Returning from a tour and being greeted by a parking ticket is not the nicest welcome.

SERVICE AVAILABILITY
a)The prices shown on the web page are based on availability at time of booking.
b) ITT CAN NOT guarantee the availability and price until the purchase has been paid in full.
c) ITT CAN NOT be held responsible for the inability to provide an advertised tour if the tour has been sold out, canceled or altered since publication

FOREIGN CURRENCY:
a) Order foreign currency only, when the tour is confirmed from the Community Bank or a local German Bank
b) For most of the Eastern Block countries you CANNOT take their currency in or out of the country.
c) We recommend taking either US Dollars or Euro to exchange for their currency in their country.
d) Countries with Euro currency are e.g. Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, and Spain

SAFETY and FORCE PROTECTION
a) Try to stay in groups of 2 or more at all times
b) Try to keep a low profile and don t do anything to draw attention to you
c) Have your tour escort s mobile number with you at all times and keep your cell phone on all the timed) Be wary of pickpockets and guard your valuables
e) The #Eagle Eyes# terrorist detection and prevention number is 06565 61 6666. Please contact this number if you notice any suspicious activity in the areas you are visiting.
f) In emergency situation dial 112 (valid all over European Union) to reach the police, ambulance, and fire department.
g) the emergency meeting point will be shown to you in the itinerary when booking
h) If you choose to drink, DRINK RESPONSIBLY and have respect for other passengers and those around you. If you 've been drinking and need a ride home, please call a taxi or Airmen Against Drunk Driving at 06565 61 AADD (2233)

1. SALE of AIRLINE TICKETS from THIRD PARTIES
-ITT is working together with airlines, consolidators and any other company providing travel products (all third parties), which offer ITT the flights.
-ITT s obligations and rights are a result of these conditions.

2. ELIGIBILITY for military rates
-AMERICAN AIRLINES
Valid for Military confirmed passengers, US Military Personnel and dependents with ID Card,
immediate family members of military personnel active or retired US military.
Immediate family members are:
spouse, children, step-children, parents, parents-in-law, sisters, brothers, step-sisters/brothers/parents/ parents, grandparents, grandparents-in-law, nieces and nephews 11 years and younger.
Nieces and nephews older than 12 years will be prices as an adult at a regular published rate.
Immediate family members traveling WITHOUT THE SPONSOR AND WITHOUT ID CARDS MUST PROVIDE A COPY OF THE SPONSOR S ID/IP CARD OR ORDERS
which show stationed in Europe or NATO passport along with a statement of sponsorship.
Valid ID CARD/ Documentation may be required at the time of Check-In.

-UNITED AIRLINES
Valid for Military confirmed passengers with ID. Valid for active NATO military personnel and active and retired U.S. Military and U.S. DOD personnel with ID/IP Cards.
Spouse/dependent children of military personnel passengers with ID, immediate family members with ID/IP cards of active and retired U.S. Military and US DOD personnel.

Immediate family members are:
parents, spouse, siblings, children, stepchild
Immediate family members traveling without the sponsor and without ID cards must provide a copy of sponsor s ID/IP Card or orders
which show stationed in Europe or NATO passport along with a statement of sponsorship.

Valid ID CARD/ Documentation or Copy of valid ID Card may be required at time of Check-In.
PASSENGERS WITHOUT PROPER DOCS MAY BE EXCLUDED FROM TRAVEL OR
PAY THE FARE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE MILITARY FARE AND APPLICABLE NON-MILITARY FARE.

-DELTA AIRLINES
Valid for Military confirmed passengers, US and NATO active personnel, immediate family members of military personnel with ID/IP cards or NATO passports, active or retired US military or DOD civilians.
Immediate family members are:
spouse, children, step-children, parents, parents-in-law, sisters, brothers, step-sisters/brothers/parents/ parents, grandparents, grandparents-in-law, nieces and nephews 11 years and younger.
Nieces and nephews 12 years and older will be priced as an adult at a regular published rate.

Immediate family members traveling without the sponsor and without ID cards must provide a copy of dependents military personnel ID/IP card or NATO passport or orders,

- If you don t fulfill the above criteria then only published rates can be offered!!!!!!!

3. ROUTING for military rates
- Military rates are only possible between Germany and the United States and vice versa.
- Military rates are NOT possible from Luxemburg or any other country besides Germany and the United States.


4. BEFORE TICKETING
a) RESERVATION
-A reservation can be done in person or on the website 52itt.com, not by phone.
-A reservation can sometimes be held for several days (unless the rules say something different and it depends on the time of the reservation and departure date.
-The reservation will fall automatically out of the system after the ticket deadline and when the customer s full payment for the ticket including all applicable fees and needed booking information has not been received before the ticket deadline.
-Prices and availabilities are subject to change any time between the booking and the ticketing.
-If there is a price difference between a time of booking and ticketing and the customer does not accept the price difference, the customer has the right to cancel the booking without penalty before ticketing.
-To make a reservation our office will require the following information:
* Confirm the itinerary you would like to reserve
* Full name of each passenger exactly as they appear on passports including middle names
* Birthdates for all passengers
* Passport number is NOT required
* A good contact number
-Reservations placed during times of closure of ITT or on the weekend CANNOT be processed before the next business day.
-Reservations, which are on hold, do not guarantee the prices. Prices are subject to change any time!
-Flights to other countries besides the States are published rates - NOT military rates.

b) CHANGES
- Name correction before ticketing is possible, after ticketing it is NOT possible.
- Changes in dates and routing depend on the availability and rules of the airline.
- Changes can only be done in person or in written form send to 52itt.com, not by phone.

c) PAYMENT
-The tickets can be purchased with AX/VI/MasterCard or in cash with Dollars or Euros.
-The ticketing fee of 45 $ per ticket can be paid with Credit Card or in Dollar cash, NOT in Euros.
-If the owner of the credit card is not in person in the office for payment with his/her credit card, ITT needs an authorization email from the owner of the credit card in written form send to 52itt.com.
-The payment has to be forwarded to ITT within ticketing deadline and office hours ( last ticket issued at 4:30 pm German time). Times can differ due to specific dates e.g. 24 the Dec /31 Dec.
-If reservation and payment are NOT done at the same time, price differences will apply and it even can lead to rejection of the purchase and reservation if there is no available price anymore.

d)MISSING TICKETING DEADLINES
-If the ticketing deadline is not met, the reservation will be automatically canceled without the right of an alternative at the same rate, dates, and routing.
-A ticketing deadline might not be met if the reservation is placed on the weekend or during times of closure of ITT.
-Missing the deadline the customer has no legal right to obtain the reservation and the confirmed price and conditions.
- Legally bound is a ticket after examination of the fare rules and completion of the contract by written confirmation from the travel vendor or his agent and a successful payment.

AFTER TICKETING
a) CHANGES
-Some tickets are non-changeable(depend on the rule)
-Changes in dates and routing depend on the availability and rules of the airline (sometimes non-changeable).
-If changes are allowed and possible/ available, change fees from the airline and ITT and maybe charges due to difference in booking classes may incur.
-The change charges vary from airline to airline and depend on their rules and will be charged to the customer and have to be paid prior to processing the change/cancellation.
-Changes can only be done in person or in written form send to 52itt.com, not by phone.
-A name change is not possible, but any discrepancy with names showing on the ticket and in the passport has to be reported to ITT immediately by the customer!

b) CANCELLATION
-Some tickets are non-refundable (depend on the rule).
-If a cancellation fee applies, there are different charges from the airline and depending on the rule.
-A cancellation has to be done before departure and check-in.
-If the ticket is already in check-in status, there will be no refund.
-The charges vary from airline to airline and depend on their rules and will be charged to the customer and have to be paid prior to processing the change/cancellation.

c) DUPE ONLINE BOOKINGS/RESERVATION
-the customer has to inform ITT immediately if more than one booking for the same traveler with the same dates is done.
-The airline might cancel both bookings without notice to the customer if a double booking with matching names is recognized.

5. CUSTOMER S RESPONSIBILITY
-The customer has to accept the airline rules.
-The customer has to obey check-in-times -3 hours before departure - and he has to reconfirm the flights within 72 hours,
otherwise the airline will NOT let the customer board and the customer has to pay for a change or a new ticket or lose a refund (partial or complete) of the paid price of the ticket
-The name of the traveler must be identical to the name (first - middle - last name - birthdate) in the passport. It has to match100 %!!! Names can NOT be changed!
-The customer has to report a damage or a loss of luggage to the airline immediately. If not, there will be a loss of the claim for reimbursement.
-The customer has to get information about the immigration rules of the countries the customer is traveling to or while in transit through it.
-The customer has to report any kind of incorrect data and offenses of ITT s services provided immediately, otherwise, the customer loses any right to possible reimbursements.
-The customer is in a legal age to use the Service, followed by the legal obligations for any responsibility the customer may incur in using the Service.
-The customer is financially responsible for the use of the ITT Service.
-The customer has to present adequate evidence that the traveler qualifies for a military fare to an airline request (e.g. copy of work order or ID)
-The customer is responsible for confirming that all details of the itinerary are correct... Once an itinerary has been signed for and purchased the customer will be responsible for fees, NOT ITT.


6. LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY
-The contents of the database given from the airline/provider to ITT are NOT guaranteed by ITT and are subject to change anytime without notice.
-The prices shown are based on availability at time of reservation/booking.
-Price and availability can change any time until the ticket is purchased and paid in full.
-ITT is NOT responsible when the advertised price has been sold out, canceled, or altered since publication.
-ITT does NOT guarantee the actual availability of the travel dates shown in the flight database, its routes, and fares.

7. TRAVEL INSURANCE
-ITT recommends a travel insurance for airline tickets at the time of booking.
-Travel Insurance can be bought within 14 days of booking.
-IT is the responsibility of the customer to request a quote for a travel insurance. Quotes are only provided on request.

8. ONE WAY TICKETS TO GERMANY
-You must have Military orders with a valid Military ID card
-Without the Military orders and the valid Military ID card, you must buy a round trip ticket to the States and you can only stay in Germany for a maximum of 90 days.
-Get in contact with the German embassy for Visa regulations
-ITT is NOT responsible nor obligated to provide Visa or other legal documents needed for traveling to or from Germany, within or without Germany

9. VISA/PASSPORTS
Your Passport, Your License to Travel:

Before you book and you start your vacation!!!
For ALL travel, even within Germany we highly recommend the tourist passport, you need your tourist passport and take a copy of orders and military ID with you. For those leaving Germany- for the dependents- you have to take your NO FEE dependent military passport with the SOFA stamp AND the tourist passport with you all the time! Members should not travel on the government passport alone for leisure travel. More information please read below...
Always check the VALIDITY of your passport and of your family members!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always check what kind of necessary travel documents you and your family members need, including any required visas, and for complying with the laws of each country traveling from, through and into a country!!!!!!!!

ITT Travel and the service providers we work with give no warranties and make no representation as to the correctness of any documentation, which is delivered/checked.

PASSPORTS & VISA - REQUIREMENTS WHEN TRAVELING
When traveling you must make sure you have the required documents to travel. It is in YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to know any government travel requirements, laws or regulations for any and all countries you are planning to travel to.

1. ACTIVE DUTY & DEPENDENTS & DOD S and GV CIVILIANS

a) Traveling within Germany
For all travel take a copy of orders and military ID and if you have your tourist passport and for dependents your no-fee passport with you.

b) Traveling from Germany to other countries
You can NOT visit other countries outside Germany just with your orders or your Government passport.
You must have a regular (fee ) passport for leaving Germany!
For dependents, you have to take your no-fee passport AND your tourist passport with you.
The SOFA stamp/sofa card (e.g. for contractors or NAF log. supported) shows customs that you are allowed to be in Germany longer than 90 days.
You may need to get a visa before you travel to a foreign destination. Contact the embassy of the country you will be visiting for more information.

c) Traveling to Germany for visitors
Your passport has to have at least six months of validity BEYOND YOUR ACTUAL TRAVEL DATE and two or more blank pages. Some countries may deny you entry or airlines may not let you board your onward flight to Europe or within Europe if your passport will expire in less than six months.
Germany is a party to the Schengen Agreement. U.S.citizens may enter Germany for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa.
WITHOUT sofa privileges and a military dependent ID a ROUNDTRIP TICKET must be purchased and A ONEWAY TICKET is NOT possible!


2. CUSTOMERS from 3rd COUNTRIES coming to Germany
People from 3rd country nationals must carry a Schengen visa or blue sofa card.
Traveling outside of Germany they need the Schengen visa.
Outside the Schengen Area, you may need a visa of that foreign country. Contact the embassy of the
countries you will be visiting for more information.
Some people may need a Sojourner visa. Here please get in contact with the Kreisverwaltung in Wittlich.

US PASSPORTS

Blue Tourist Passport
This passport is your personal property. You can visit foreign countries using this passport, but always check before traveling, if you may need a visa!
Blue No-Fee Passport
This passport gets Active Duty dependents. It is issued by the Dept of State in conjunction with an overseas assignment and it is issued free as part of the PCS process. A majority of dependents will have their SOFA stamp in it and always contains a statement in the back that states that the passport is valid only for use in conjunction with the bearers residence abroad as a dependent of an active duty person outside of the United States. This passport is designed to get the owner from the US to the country they are assigned to ONLY, NOT FOR LEISURE TRAVEL!!

Maroon Offical Passport
This passport is issued to active duty members with TDY orders, to GS Civilians, and to DODEA teachers. US citizens may hold both a valid official passport and a valid personal passport at the same time. Official passports are only to be used when traveling on government business, so any leisure travel must be done with a personal passport.

Cancellation Policy

  • 25% up to 14 days prior to tour departure
  • 50% within 14 days of tour departure
  • No refund for same day cancellation or no-shows regardless of the reason
  • No refund for SAPI prices
  • Fees are per person based on total tour price
  • Please note, cancellation policy applies to day tours only
