On our way to Venice we will have a stop in Milan, well known for its fashion week and second most popular city of Italy in Rome. After a guided city tour you will have some time to explore on your own before we will continue on to our hotel near Verona. The rest of the day is free to do as you wish.

The next day we will take a water taxi to Venice. Once we arrive in Venice get enchanted by the flair of the famous Venice Carnival. After the guided city tour you will have free time to explore the many sights that make Venice so picturesque on your own. Among these sights, you may see the byzantine Basilica di San Marco and its café-encircled piazza, the Campanile (its bell tower), the Palazzo Ducale (residences of the Doges) and the Bridge of Sights (the bridge connecting the palace to the prison). Enjoy the Piazza as characters wander around in period costumes, have your face painted by one of the many artists, or explore the area around Rialto Bridge for some wonderful shopping. Join in the fun by buying your own mask and make sure to take a camera to capture it all.

On your last day in Italy we will have a guided city tour of Verona. The hotel will be approximately 30 minutes outside Verona. After the tour and with a lot of new impressions we will leave towards Spangdahlem.
